Prince Rupert is BC's rainiest city - it gets 25% more than we do here in Squamish; but the scenery promises to be tremendous. And besides, I've always had webbed feet. When we lived in Princeton, I missed the rain that I was accustomed to. The grass stayed green there for about 2 months before it shriveled up and turned brown. So, what's an extra 25% rain??
We found out the other day that there's a grizzly bear reserve just a bit north of Prince Rupert - that will be amazing! Also, they have up to 25 foot tides; just imagine all of the fascinating aspects of Jehovah's aquatic creation we'll be able to discover when the tide is that far out!
I am excited about moving and the new opportunities and experiences we'll have. Career-wise this will be a good move for Chad; and I think spiritually it will be beneficial as well. Of course there are bitter-sweet feelings, too. We'll be far away from my family again; but there's an airport there, so if the need arises, we're really only a hop, skip & a flight away!
I added a couple of poems to Extension of Ambrosia the other day: Echoes of Lake Sheridan and Old Man on Dock. Check them out - hope you enjoy them.
And I've started a "Family" photo album, too; the link's at the side...
I got a really sweet picture of my niece and her daddy the other day that I just had to share.
