Unspeakable Tragedy

So, my film camera is out of commission. I've got a Pentax MZ-30... It's been having trouble advancing the film properly, so it's been overlapping some of the frames.
For example, a few days ago, I managed to take 31 pictures on a 24-exposure roll of film before it got to the end! yikes. It's done this occasionally since I've had the camera, but now it's been a few rolls in a row; so for now it's benched - till I can figure out if it will be more cost-effective to replace it or to get it fixed. *sigh* In the meantime, I've still got my little Sony digital, and Chad's new Canon digital SLR.

But, to explain the reason I chose the title I did for this entry, you must understand - I have had nightmares about losing or breaking my camera. Nightmares, okay!? In one, I was in the car with my parents: they in the front seat, me in the back. And mom had the camera... and the window was open... and then, suddenly, she didn't have the camera anymore. And in slow motion, I could see the camera bouncing down the road, losing pieces with every impact.

Anyway, while it's sidelined, I figure I should spend some time dealing with the photos I've already got piling up! Here's a picture of one of the scrapbook pages I made recently - the bright orange kitten's named Billy, he visited us for a couple of hours one afternoon in Squamish; the grey cat's named Hobbes, he belongs to my sister-in-law. And the ginger-coloured one at the top and right is ours, Jake. Enjoy!
