Settling In

So we've arrived safely and the move is over. My parents drove the UHaul, and we the car... 22 hours give or take a nap along the way, we arrived in our new town. The rain held off until the truck was unloaded yesterday afternoon, but it's basically been raining off & on since then; and our time has been divided between sleeping and unpacking.

The view from the house we're renting is tremendous.

One thing I'd forgotten about was the learning curve when it comes to plants & wildlife. We lived in Princeton right after we got married, and there were so many different types of plants and animals that I wasn't familiar with, due to its being in a different region! So for a while I'll be an idiot when it comes to flora & fauna - but that won't stop me from taking pictures!

I know exactly what you mean about learning the new plants and stuff.
My that looks like an awfully big deer in that picture.

Yep, that's a moose.. he was right downtown Smithers, the poor old thing. He's quite wasted away & had a bad limp in the back. :(
