Fictionalized ... Realized!

Has everyone seen the new James Bond "Casino Royale"??

Chad & I went and saw it last weekend; it had a lot more depth to it than most Bond movies, and it was about 2 1/2 hours long. We enjoyed it. But here's why I'm talking about it: part of it takes place during a museum exhibit called "Body Worlds" - where there are human bodies, shown in layers... which was really cool...

But then, something happened. When I was at work last week, one of the ladies there had a pamphlet from this very museum exhibit!! Until that moment, I was content, believing it to have been a fictionalized made-for-Hollywood scenario! But I discovered, it's in the Vancouver science center as we speak! It opened there in September, and is staying till January 14th. If we still lived in Squamish at this moment, I would have been there already. Probably more than once.

Alas, we live several thousand kilometers away from Vancouver. But I will be going. I don't know when yet, but something inside me is impelling me -- and I HAVE to go! Someday, sometime, before January 14th, I WILL attend this exhibit.

Check out a
video about the exhibit. It takes a while to stream the file, especially if you're on dial up, so you may just want to check out the webpage for more info.

I'm not much of a museum-loving person, myself, but I AM fascinated by the human body, and the chance to see so many specimens of various elements... I just am so excited.

Your neice's whole grade 8 class is going on December 19th as an all day science field trip. (We found this out after we thought about going with you and your hubby.) We may be going along as well to help keep order in what is sure to be a FUN bunch. But, I will let you know what is going on closer to. :)
