Reality Bites

So here's the thing.. last night I thinking about a *lot* of things. I came to the realization that my whole plan / idea / scheme / dream of going to Vancouver solely for the Body Worlds exhibit is the absolute height of frivolity and sillyness.
Let's think about this: without air miles or aeroplan miles, it's going to be about $1,000 for the two of us to go down and return by plane. OR, we could spend 22 driving hours - each way - so anywhere between 3 and 4 days of driving just to get down there. Factor in the fact that Chad doesn't get anymore holiday time till the next secular year, and that cost of missing work adds up pretty quick. THEN think about the fact there's a new little one expected in my brother's family, but not till May. So then, what? We'd make the trip AGAIN when that happens??
*sigh* I'm such a silly girl sometimes.

So I am resigning myself to reality. Sometime before January 14th, I *won't* be going to Science World.

But, I WILL let you all know when we are planning to come down for real!
