The convention was very enjoyable - as one would expect! But in order not to ruin the anticipation for others, I don't plan to share anything from the program. Instead, I wanted to record the number and variety of wildlife we saw during our travels!
On the way there, we saw 1 marmot, 1 fox, 4 moose (two adults, two calves), several deer, and a dizzying array of birds. On the way home, we saw 2 foxes, 1 black bear, 1 coyote, and a vast assortment of birds. Jehovah's creations are so fascinating, and so amazing! Everytime we spotted something, we were just so pleased! It makes me yearn for the time when we'll be able to interact with them intimately and safely in the new system. In the meantime, here's the best photo we got.... (click for larger view).

OH! And, the camera we got off of Ebay arrived today!! It's my new Pentax ist DS digital SLR and I am SOOOOooooo excited!

In service the other day, a HH said that a baby bear had just crossed the road, and she thought we walking...
you failed to mention how many poor critters died on our trip.
There was a dead cow. A dead cow moose. We ran over a squirel or something and there's still a poor bird squihed in my grill. ewww gross.
There ws also a forest fire in Terrace. in the rain forest. go figre.

I did not FAIL to mention.. I CHOSE not to mention the carnage. And, WHY? you said it yourself: "ewww gross"! haha *sigh* This is supposed to be a family-friendly web page!
